This is a one-of-a-kind recreation of the one-of-a-kind Aerolithe whose fate is unknown. The 1935 original (and the recreation) were built in of Electron, a flammable alloy of magnesium an aluminum; hence the rivet seams stitching the body rather than welding. It is the penultimate cyberpunk production and triumph of style and art over practicality -- gorgeous. The reproduction in the show was built by the Guild of Automotive Restorers in 2008-2013.
