Teardrop
This exact automobile used by carrossiers Joseph Figoni and Ovidio Falaschi to apply for patents on the Teardrop’s body shape. It is one of the three which had an aluminum body, and no two of the Teardrops were exactly alike. This is one of the twelve “New York-style” coupes built between 1937 and 1939. The hand-formed body took 2,100 man-hours to produce.
